Aging is not for babies!

On the journey of life I decided to do it my way! It takes a long while to grow old when I am getting younger every day. What we do for ourselves dies with us; what we do for others and the world remains immortal.

The best way to grow old is not to be in a hurry about it. The secret of staying young is to live well, eat slowly and lie about your age. Woody Allen said “ I don’t want immortality through my work. I want to achieve it by not dying.’

Old age is when you can’t remember when you forget.

Don’t trust a woman who tells you her real age; a women like that would tell anything.

I know a man who gave up smoking, drinking, sex, and rich food. He was healthy right up to the time he killed himself. Winston Churchill when advised that his zipper fly was open said, “The dead bird does not leave his nest.”

I was walking on Little Beach in Mokena Maui, Hawaii with one of my friends who at the time was 83 years old. A beautiful young women passed by and my friend turned to me and said “if only I was 74 years old again!”

Another friend of mine who was 89 years old told that one day when he was walking along Waialua Beach, Maui in the early morning hours he came across a bottle that had apparently washed ashore. When he opened the top a beautiful genie burst forth with a puff of smoke and said, “I am your genie and you can have any wish you desire.” My friend, after giving it some thought said, “I want to bring peace between Israel and the Arab Nations.” The genie responded by saying “That is almost impossible for me to do. So many people have tried in the past 60 years. It seems hopeless at this time. Why don’t you try again with another request?” My friend, although disappointed, then asked the genie “ alright then, how about you arranging for me to have sex with my wife for eight (8) hours straight tomorrow night?” The genie thought for a moment; “well forget that, the genie thought about the request and responded saying,” well, how about our going back to your first request about Israel and the Arabs?”
